not much time!

went praying dear's dad and relatives on sat morning... think i woke up too early hence had to spend the rest of the morning in stone mode. the later part of the afternoon were spent at his cousin's for fortune telling... surprisingly, both his and my fate are very similar. almost the same in many aspects. his cousin says its because we are fated to be husband and wife and judging from our fate, we had a phase in my forties and his fifties where we might sink into a depressing stage and we might be in a different stage of life. nothing to do with 3rd party but the way we communicate. a new form of communication might happen. and during our forties, we will be in a stage of change properties in many hands. good or bad no one will know till the day come. she also told us that we will have 1 to 2 kids... kids of strong character.. which is a combination of my stubborn-ness and his bad temper. i guess my nightmare came thru of creating monsters!! eeeeeeeeks! we are suppose to be enjoying our golden years together ... at least a good sign. one thing fun where she pointed out is me better in logistic line. we did not tell her that daddy is in that industry and she pointed it out to me! scary!! we will just see how things go i guess.

ending the meet up at 5, i felt sick. giddiness and puking. we decide to drive back and he bathe xiong xiong... dear even brush that notti boy of ours... not bad of being a good dad i suppose.. i spent the night snoring through and waking up for the occasional stir... 

dear do not need to work today.. lucky him! coy gave him a day off for the national day holiday... but i got a extra day in my listing. hence i had to head back to work. the 1st time heading to work on my own. without dear driving me.. i had to squeeze the pack bus and mrt.. so grrr.... i miss car ride.... lolz. 

at least on the bright side, there is no need for work tomorrow as i got the leave to sign the lease agreement for our yishun BTO... finally! a chance to sign the lease agreement for jade spring.. the much waited and anticipated wait ...  wonder how many more years will the building be up? 

since we are bringing the kids for grooming at the end of this mth, we might head to the green land and see how things goes...  hope they had started though...

since i was hardworking enough, i did a timeline till our ROM... after its done.. omg... we got less than a mth left! hi tea location is still pending.. no flowers and we had not book bintan trip... babe always says that we are sooo bo chap.. lolz.. i hate to agree on that... guess tml we have to be abit hardworking... to source for all the things.....

when life changes

ever since the "prepare for marriage" happens, i found that i got lesser and lesser times for friends... feeling guilty as ever, i am now putting in effort to meet friends.. people whom i love and hang out with and people who care for me... when life changes from single to attached. when life changes from attached to be married, the amount of outings actually reduces. inverse relationship i believe.. lolz! see! i even have got an equation for that!

the recent planning in ROM is kinda driving me nuts. not exactly difficult but i just had planning. planning for timing, planning for events and planning for everyone. i am the kind who goes with the flow and to do things i wish. lucky for me, dear puts in effort to do part of the work. everything is done up except for the idiot meal part. my timing is 3.20pm... should be hi-tea to follow right? except not much places open for hi tea at late afternoon on a thursday.. boo! 

any help is appreciated ok? pls pls... suggestions!!! i dont think i am the capable kind of person who can plan the whole ROM myself... so pls...... ideas ok????? dim sum at late afternoon... tell me where... i am thinking of ;

Chef E rocks!

Ended the short weekend with good food at itchy’s place. Reached yishun at 5ish and up we went to the home of chef E. the smell is overwhelming… got us hungry at the sight of all the cooking… jo and jeff were there already.. helping out. Elaine was carrying doudou not letting him down.. zzzz .. when dou saw dt dx, you could see the happiness in his eyes! Lol! No matter what dx did, dou jus went for it.. playing with him and letting dx do his lion dance.. lolz! The only help that I had provided is to eat. Eat eat eat eat eat…. That’s the only thing that I am doing. Leaving the rest of the decent and dirty job with jo and itchy…! I am soooo unhelpful… what to do? I feel like a bull in the chinashop wherever I am in the kitchen. I could never never feel comfortable doing chores in the kitchen. Even with dear, he is always the one helping and cleaning up. Never me. Lolz.
Dou’s papa arrived slightly later and comes josie and her bf… that pretty auntie even had to arrive fashionably late and looking pretty..! boooo! CL and her hubby pop by later.. 1st time seeing them though but nonetheless, everyone click nicely…
Dx became the centre of attraction with everyone trying to dognap him… I wonder why.. that spoilt brat, so notti and spoilt, still so wanted by many… he is sooo fake! Lol
The star of the day are the food… omg… I drooled just thinking back what I had eaten! Risotto ( I never like rice but I had scoops and scoops 10/10), cod fish pastry (its 9/10) , potatos (9/10) and the all time fave, tiramisu (20/10) the dinner for today is like 10/10! None of my friends could cook as well as itchy and also none could cook soooo perfectly!
Had to carry myself home after staffing my face and shamelessly dabao… but I don’t care! Cause the food is sooo damn yummy!! Chef E rocks!

palawan!

Its Thursday! But nothing feels like it as it the qtrly recreation for our coy.. its my turn to plan we decide to head down for an afternoon of beach and sunshine and rain at Palawan beach! My team is of Marls and Ed… both members whom I had worked closely with before. Although it’s the 1st time planning, all went well! Ed and myself were kinda last min kinda persons and marls is the proactive, ks type. Lucky for us, with members so balanced, we had the games and budget planned well. All of us head off to Palawan in a taxi and due to the bright sunshine, many of us got into the mood to play.
With winners out from our game play, we ended the games at 4.30 pm. Giving everyone an hr and half for washing up. Many of us decided to stay on for a game of volley ball and continue playing. While the older generation went for washing up, we dragged till the last min, gotten ourselves filled with sand before we decide to unwillingly wash up. The night ended with us heading to vivocity for dinner at a thai restaurant. Seeing how everyone have different taste, our team took pride in preordering the food to suit the taste bud of everyone. So glad for the sporting sprit in all that the day and night ended up really well! I sooo miss the beach!

Had not had the chance for my bo liao updates. Dear had been hogging my poor lappy. Making it overworked.
For me, i hod the teebee insteady. For Zelda and for hk series. Which is of cause a better company.
Finally my period has come! After 2 months of period being lost and in pain in office... (which I get to steal the chance to work from home), my period finally come.. i finally bleed. Wahahha! For once i enjoyed the cramp!!! Heard that royal jelly is good to regulate period so dear got me a bottle which is supposed to help. Faithfully taking it now.

Last sat was happening. The meet ups of the family with his mum late for an hour due to the her dressing up! Hence we decide to up our time for our ROM from 3.20pm to 2pm. The dinner was fun! His mum talking to my parents and it ink dad and mum feel more at ease now that they had seen his family.. his mum love my parents so i think there will be another meet up.
The dinner lasted like till 10... all full and stuffed up our face... lolz!

Went for ah ma’s prayers for her 1 year.. started at 9am and by the time it ended, its really late... too much kneeling! Dear had to help out alot alot... got us both so shag that we KO once we went back! Even tennis is not so crazy!

Hmm now to set me thinking... i think i am busier on babe’s rom than mine... even mine, i did not worry or do so much things... i guess its always easier and less stress up to plan to somebody...

visited itchy new house today!!! omg .... its sooo pretty!!! the concept is pretty, the furnishing is pretty, everything is pretty!! the only complain is the lousy workmanship! the lousy paint work and the lousy lousy paintwork... lolz.. besides that its purfect!! good job itchy!!
DT make the place like his own, jumping onto bed and sofa and going to the toilet to pee... way before bbb do that!! wahahaha
ate dinner at itchy's island.. OMG! its so magazine-ish! i love the high stool.. at least my big butt would not feel like its falling off!
jo and jeff arrive abit later, but being having to go to movie late in the night, we had to leave them within 10 mins... anyway, they did not want to sayang my dx.. booooooooooo wahahaha

when driving home, dear drove pass our green green land... finally, there are signs of having work to be done!! woohoo!! glad that its finally starting..

on the way back, i was really thankful for the good things that had happen in my life. if there is a GOD up there, i am thankful and i say my prayers daily.. for the good i had done, the bad i had done and the wonder things i have and still having in return...

Had been nagging to dear about me not getting a “will u marry me?” no flowers, no ring.. no proposal.. I had been feeling sore about it and finding chances to “nag” for the lack of it.

Today he took me by surprise!

It’s the usual “lets go home for dinner” Friday. Nothing special or spectacular. Looking forward to homecook food by mummy… reached home and help out to lay the food on the tables, as I wanted to put a spoonful of rice into my mouth, dear covered my eyes and told me he got something for me! Not my birthday, not our anniversary… in my mind, I was thinking, FINALLY this guy is cooking something for me to eat! He had always claimed to be a good chef, but never lay his hands to cook for me. I thought he is up to something special!

Opened my eyes and I got the shocked of my life!! Flowers in 1 hand, a solitaire in another, down on his knees! I was lost for words! Dear asked, infront of dad and mum, “dear, will you marry me?” OMG! I backed off! Too lost for wonder, wanting to tear, laugh and not sure how to react! I looked around.. mum keep saying” faster lah! Accept leh!!!” I was still lost! I think I said “yes” omg… I remember he kissed me, I remembered we kissed and I cant remember much!! All too sudden, too much of a surprise and too lovely a surprise!!

Dear ‘s voice trembled when asking, I was too lost for words.. till now, since 8 hrs had passed, I am still shocked.. still surprised!!

Dear roped in kelvin , mum, dad and babe for this huge event! Kelvin and mum for the flowers to reach my place.. dad for all the point of contact and babe for choosing the perfect ring and having it fit me!

I am so shamelessly bliss!

I love the name of the solitaire, its True Love from SK… true love… awww…. With a cert attached to it, I don’t think it’s cheap. The cut is pretty and the ring fits perfectly.

Went shopping with kb today!! Sad that vern baby cant make it... boooooooo! Make me sooo look forward to seeing u and u did not turn up!!

Head off to cityhall for my dress shopping... i am jus sooo glad kb baby is here! She helped me to pick the nicest dress!! Head off to lavender 1st and the shop is sooo pretty! Lotsa nice nice dresses and we saw one that is sooo vern-ish.. yes the word.. its sooo vern! The other dresses are the usual girlish kind... 100% not me... due to my disgusting big boobs... i got prob with most bareback dress.. cant hold up by boobs lah..

While at citylink, dear called and i forced him to drive us to suntec. Head to Daniel yam.. the attitude of the sales auntie suxs... anyway, i did not give them an easy time. Hahaha picked 4 dresses to try and i like a chilli red one and a black and red chongsum one.... dear likes the white venus one which both me and kb don’t quite like... lucky for me, kb stood by my decision.. phew! Girl power!!!!

According to kb, i am beginning to behave spoilt! Am I ???! she said i am pampered, spoilt all roll in one with dear always giving in to me, driving me around and i am behaving like a pampered child!! Booooooooo! Am I ???! not at all right??? Tell me i am not...

went to settle some stuff for our wedding...
we are finally getting into the details already.. phew....

1) date set (wahahaha)

2) location set (at ROM lor)

3)wedding bands more or less confirm... we will most likely be buying this pair... any comments????

went to citigem (the designs are not to what we like) / lee hwa (designs so-so but not as ex as we thought) / sk (worse of all.. cos we dont like anything there) / gold heart ( not as cheap as we thought) / soo kee (not so nice leh). in the end, we decide on this pair after the millons of pairs that we see and forget... its either this or the lee hwa's... we kinda like this more so guess there will be one more look at it...

4) dress... still on the look out... so will be dragging vern and kb to go with me... pls gals... help!!!! so on tues we will be heading to cityhall .. to stamford court and suntec... wish me luck!! made an appt with dressmeup.com on sat for another round of fitting... dear says the dress looks pretty so decide to book me an appt for that.

5) photography and vidz will be done by my itchiest pal and her hubby... wahahaha with good camera skills and can totally rely on them and paying them the min fee and rip it off them! wahahahahaha! see! itchy is sooo multi purpose.. can take my vidz / bitch with me / itchy with me!

6) make up will be done by ferene... she did wonderful wonderful job on itchy time and again.. so i will surely wan her!!! who ever can make itchy so hot is to be head hunted!! i dont wanna look like a drag queen leh...

7) dinner venue are not really fix yet... the places we are planning are Jade at Fullerton / Hua Ting at Orchard hotel / Pine Court at Meritus Mandrain .... come come.. contribute ideas! we are planning to get them to customise a dinner menu for us...

8) short trip away from home... planning to hunt during the natas sales in aug 1 /2 /3 at expo... cant decide between taipei and hokkaido / okinawa ....

9) my guest list is gonna be simple... dear's dad and mum / carina babe and manwin / my parents / mervin and lili / kelvin and gf / itchy and robert (itchy u have to be there so tat there is someone for me to roll my eyes with and to smoke with me when in need and to take my pretty face and make sure i dun have veg in my teeth) / my aunt (maybe) and us of cos! thats like 14 to 15 pax!!!

happy birthday mummy!!!!

its mummy birthday today!!! dad took the day off and went bird park with her. romentic walk by the road, birds and wings by the side... wahhh so lormentic rite? mum loves the idea! last year was sentosa so this year becomes birdpark. despite the busi schedule, dad took the day off and its really sweet!
the bros and their gfs got mummy make-up, dad got her lotsa stuff and dear and me got her earrings... she love love her presents and she even ask dt and dx wat they are going to give her. they fought over, wanting to lay their kisses on my mum.
we met them at west coast for dad's new car collection. a CAMRY!!! dad upgraded from a lorry to a van, to a corolla to a camry. its a pretty colour of greyish silverish blue... lolz... not used to the heavy functions in the new 2 lit car... dad felt lost and wanted dear to be there with him during the collection. the kids could not go in so mum and myself waited in dear's car for dad's new toy... omg.. he drove damn slow lah!
upon reaching home, he spent the next 2 hrs shifting things to his car, touching it and playing with the buttons with dear. so the 2 men were out jus playing with the boys big toy... lolz..
mum was all smiley and happy!! with the presents, the outings and the new car.. ok she is not sooo excited abt the car lah..
head to farmart for dinner as we want something near home so that the kids would not be left alone tooo long, the dinner was tooo filling! too much food!!! and there is still a cake to go!!!
the whole day was filled with fun and joy!!! mum says its the best birthday with all of us bringing out partners and dear and me planning marriage... lolz
and before we all knew it... its like 11pm already!!
headed back home cos DT was really grouchy!! ong lah ong lah!

office move!

yes! office is moving to a new location! from shenton way to shenton way... lolz!! the whole week was packed bz with the packing and many other things like helping to co-ordinate the move.

my office took 4 wks for the whole completion.. or was it 3 wks plus but itchy's place is still pending move. still next wk... every wk i ask her, its next wk... so ""ITCHY!! when u moving lah!!!""

if i were her, i would have flared up already... booo!! lucky for us, its to our benefit that we manage a deal from the good old HDB... no need to go through all these ...

For better or woes?

With worldwide increase in the fuel prices, drivers are definitely affected badly.
Sympathies from other counties eg. Indonesia, china, Malaysia and many other countries had subdue the nations with the ability to reimburse the hike through cash rebates or reduced fuel hike or absorbing the fuel hike. In countries where its deemed to have riots and where its deemed to be unsafe, the least the government do is to pacify the people.
In Singapore, rather than to pacify the nation, to reimburse us, we had to face a higher fee. Higher fuel price hit, no pity yet we had to face more gantries, higher parking fees and a even higher fuel rate.

Is this fair? Or have we grown so coward that we had to endure the over laps of price increase, one layer after another? Or have our government take us for granted that they deemed its right to ride the hike on us and to push us further?
Don’t tell me about public transport; don’t try to advise me the usage. I have 2 dogs, tell me the pros of public transport and convince me to switch over.

Woes and helpless

Been sick... bad one

been badly coughing for the past 2 weeks... look like crap and seems like i had highly infected my whole office... everyone hates meeee booo!!

went to the doc and was told to stay away from work for 2 days... i had the plans to work from home but the med jus makes me sleepy.... snore....
spent the whole day and night sleeping. the med is doing wonders i muz say, making me doing nothing but dizzy the whole time.

the boys are really happy for mummy to be at home cos its "come out and play the whole day" time. dx is the happiest! irritating kor kor all the way and got snap.. but he enjoyed it lah, the itchy boy.

for concern peeps, i had not start my rom preparations at all! my boobs are too huge to fit into those dresses and it suxs lah! i am sooo grouchy! we are planning a short getaway right after the dinner thingy so there are lotsa of things to get. lucky i got my photo / vidz and make up already. the rest are in a blur... even picking dinner venue is sooo diffcult! i tink we are jus plain lazy. but its really a chore...

dear had to spend the weekend at IT show. the usual affair when it comes to work... he had since been at suntect till thurs and today is the last day to go... becos of his busy schedules, i get to meet up with the gals last night! with our kiddos of cos. robert was nice enough to pick me up at 6.30 after picking up the pretty cupcakes from vain vain josie... 1st time bringing dt and dx out... not as diffcult as i tot so. dx was a darling in the van, leaning nxt to kor kor and waiting for the destination. reaching pawtobello, we were shown to our tables by nice waitress ... surprise right? guess the high rent and the bad comments make it really bad for them. suddenly, the waitress were all damn nice!!! before dx got a chance to touch the ground, 2 pretty gals came and carried him already. almost not wanting to return him to me!~! its really nice catching up with the gals, it had been long long time since we last came out...

Beside my dosage for euro 2008, i got my movies filled during the wkends... ya.. wk ended already...lolz

i sooo love SATC! its jus reminds me of fen and kept me thinking of her through the movie cos its 1 series that we share... now looking back, she had been with me through shit of my life and now the 2 of us are moving to another phase... fen... meet up leh!

The Chronicles of Narnia is another one i had this afternoon... i seriously tink prince caspian is a dick head and he is a loser.. the theater is so-so with the unfocus screen in the middle.. lolz... i hiam too much!

now sitting infront of my lappy and planning my acca papers, i seems to be having a busy year end ahead of me. will be taking P1 at SAA from 1st week of july. the fee for the papers had certainly gone up a fair bit and orch, the money hurts.... but i am seriously considering to concentrate fully for this and i swear i will be a good girl and focus on all my classes.... anyway, my class starts on Mon and even before registering for it, i am feeling oh-so-blah....

then the ROM in sep... dear and me got excited jus talking about it... 1st timers mah... 1 sep is to verify our details at ROM, 4 sep is the date and we are planning to go for a short trip after the ceremony... just to celebrate being "married" lolz... dear keep wanting to change Ng da tou to Seng da tou... duh.... sounds soooo blah...

looking back at 2007 and 2008 (half of 2008), i must say i had had a great year.... got the things that i had wanted, starting sch, finding the perfect match for myself, getting dt and bro, rejoining the gym and got myself to this wonderful coy...

my first celebration is in my office. hearing the crazy birthday song that goes like this "clap clap clap.. this is your birthday song, this is your birthday song, this is your birthday song... bang bang bang" all thanks to the crazy colleague who actually plan this just for me... awww right? i had a chocolate walnut mocha cake... yummy!! specially ordered by my boss!!! so sweet hor.. even my director decide to dump my face into the cake... damn it!! lolz!! but this makes me love the team sooo much! so all your craziness. i love you guys!!!

dear brought me to this nice nice restaurant for my dinner. a mix of traditional jap and French and fusion. nice mix though. with nice and warm waiters, who says the service standard is that bad?

comes my birthday present, a joint present between dear and his mum and his sis! i love the idea totally! it was done to make me feel like part of the family and it was done sooo sweet! not the huge stone kinda thingy but becos its a joint present by the family, makes me feel soooooo happy and touch!!! awwwww just wanna cry...

the morning after the celebration is such a draggggggg almost not wanting to drag my arse to work but i am sooo glad i did! receive my beautiful flowers from my itchies pal of all... my itchy itchy best fren enrica!!! ooooo itchy i love love u!!!!!!!!! so sweet for the flowers and the flowers made head turns when peeps passed by my desk!!! this is like one of the bestest present i ever got!! awwwww!!! the pics did not do justice to the flowers cos they are certainly alot alot prettier!!



just moments of thanks to all my pals who wished me happy birthday on msn and sms... u guys are all so sweet... so many to name, because all of you make my birthday special.. with all your wishes, you guys make this day so special to me... so muacks to all my frens... seriously i love love love you guys...

headed home straight after work, its such a office hour rush!! mad rush they say... the boys were hungry, starving and they are tired... both in the end fell a slp in the car on the way home... its certainly not ez to hold 2 kids in the front seat!

i so miss daddy and mummy!! and they were soooo happy to see the boys!! mum as usual, try to snatch dt from me and keep trying to bribe him to stay for the wkend... damn i will not allow!! lolz... we had the happy birthday to meeee with me hold dx and mummy holding dt... looks more like their birthday than mine... but certainly we had fun!!!

long time no see!

Been on a busy note recently. The travelling, the long hours, the 2nd child, all these make me really busy. The tiny bit of extra time were spent either shouting after DX or cleaning their pee / poo and shouting for them to stop fighting and to not to bite each other.. blah blah blah... i am starting to feel old.
Currently, all blogging done were all about the boys... time to fill in some things about me me me!
Actually i am boring, we are boring. We are still doing the same thing day after day. Wake up, he feed the kids, drive me to mrt, meet me and drive me home after work, pack dinner, go back feed the kids. The cycle just goes round and round. Boring person i am!
For all the crazy work and kids schedule, i seems to have left out friends and pals. Guess the most recent pal i met is itchy. Went up to her new place and OMG.... OMFG.... her place rocks! Loves the tiles , love the walls and looking forward for the pink wall! Although its at a low level, its not warm or stuffy at all. And the place is spacious! Itchy u rock!! Your house is gonna be beautiful!
This makes dear and myself itch for our own house. It has passed 2 months already and yet, we had not got the letter to sign the lease agreement yet. Driving pass the place a few times, nothing but plain grass greet us... such low morale.
While writing this blog, here i am, tinking of all the frens that i had not managed to meet up.. i am gonna to start to date u soon! That before school starts in Jul!

dx had his last jab!

finally after such long wait fo tortued pee and poo wrong.... dx went for his last hab already.... finallly!!! now weighing 1.5kg.. 400 grams increase from the previous mth. this boy being fearless, actually cry in pain when he got his 3rd jab and microchip... cying all the way home and when he reach home.. he sulk and whine. always wagging his tail and being the hyper boy of the house, he just sulk... this got dt worried. real worried. ended up, dt slept beside dx's playpen the whole nite. such sweet darlings they are.
not to our surpise, once woke up, dx was jumping and playing already. as hubby always put "see lah, see already forget already. just like his pee / poo" wahahahaha totally agree. dx started the morning trying to get dt's attention and dt spent the same time trying to get him out. by evening, they spend the nite having a shouting match. dx trying to stretch his paws out to kor kor and kor kor purposely put his toys inches from dx so that dx cant reach, this made dx mad. but the worse was dt, not able to enjoy his fight with dx...
